A body of work that presents quiet yet emotionally charged scenes featuring faceless figures suspended in moments of stillness and anticipation. Two recurring objects—the chair and the apple—anchor the imagery with layered meaning. The chair offers a sense of safety and pause, while the apple sheds its mythical weight to embody personal choice rather than temptation. Each canvas captures the subtle moment just before something unfolds: a movement, a connection, a fall. These intimate compositions become stages for emotional oppositions—closeness and distance, safety and vulnerability, belief and doubt. Through delicate gestures and restrained tension, the pieces explore the fragile act of approaching another person, the precise instant when someone becomes real. In this suspended space between instinct and conscious risk, the possibility of love emerges not as a sudden revelation but as a slow, voluntary act of recognition. The result is a poignant reflection on intimacy, hesitation, and emotional awakening.
